Uranium 52 Playing Cards

Uranium 52 is an apocalyptic, nuclear-themed deck. Each deck comes with 56 custom designed card backs and faces and a bespoke, luxury tuck case. 
 
The deck design conveys an overall apocalyptic tone, which is a style I've always been drawn to. I wanted to demonstrate a nice combination of minimalism and detailed illustration which I think lends itself well to the overall theme and aesthetics of the deck. 
 
Each deck includes:
A Custom card back design
40 custom card faces
12 custom court cards
2 Jokers
Two gimmick cards (one double back and one duplicate 9 of diamonds)
 
Printed with a unique, custom-engineered ink for the deck which will glow brightly under UV light and closely match the exceptionally bright colour of the tuck case stock.
 
The tuck case takes a more clean, minimalist approach in its design. The case uses glossy black foil printed onto a special, luxury stock called "Nuclear Acid". This stock in itself inspired the creation of this deck. It has a very unique colour and texture that isn't commonly seen on card stock.
